چکیده
William Unruh has suggested (quant-ph/9710032) that a certain counterfactual statement in my recent nonlocality proof should be re-interpreted in a way that would block the proof. I give reason’s why that statement should not be re-interpreted. ∗This work was supported by the Director, Office of Energy Research, Office of High Energy and Nuclear Physics, Division of High Energy Physics of the U.S. Department of Energy under Contract DE-AC03-76SF00098.

First Order Corrections to the Unruh Effect
First order corrections to the Unruh effect are calculated from a model of an accelerated particle detector of finite mass. We show that quantum smearing of the trajectory and large recoil essentially do not modify the Unruh effect. Nevertheless, we find corrections to the thermal distribution and to the Unruh temperature. In a certain limit, when the distribution at equilibrium remains exactly...
متن کاملKaluza-Klein reduction for the Unruh brane
We present a Kaluza-Klein reduction for the Unruh response that a brane, in an AdS bulk would experience due to its acceleration. The Unruh radiation is realised as particle production on the brane for each of the Kaluza-Klein modes. A correction, coming from the massive modes, is calculated for the standard Unruh effect in Minkowski spacetime and it is found that the response coming from these...
متن کاملTransfer from action to perception: The effect of motor-perceptual enrichment
This study investigated the effect of audiovisual integration on action-perception transfer.40 subjects were randomly divided four groups: visual, visual-auditory, control visual and control visual-auditory. Visual groups watched pattern skilled basketball player and other groups in addition to watching pattern skilled basketball player, heard Elbow angular velocity as sonification. In first st...
